X-Factor: The Right Man Won It

THIS IS WHAT I COULD HAVE SAID (see below) ~ THE X FACTOR!

IT WAS THE GRAND FINALE OF THE X FACTOR (our version of American Idol) yesterday and Joe won it. I was so pleased it was him ~ who can sing Michael Jackson better than Michael Jackson ~ what a tone! ... And not the saccharine Ollly Murrrs!!

Having said that, though slightly vocally not as supreme as Joe I thought Stacey Solomon, who got chucked out in the semi final, had more star quality than the last two put together...

STACEY SOLOMON AND MICHAEL BUBLE: FEELING GOOD
X-FACTOR SEMIFINAL 2009

This is Olly Murrs, who I didn't AT ALL want to win, singing Angels with Robbie Williams

JOE MC-THINGIE AND GEORGE MICHAEL ~ DON'T LET THE SUN GO DOWN ON ME
Not the most amazing tune, in my opinion, but don't you think Joe's got a cracking voice..??!!

JOE McE ~ Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word
This is the most beautiful song he sung, I think... what do you think?

  1. WAHAY for Joe! I'm glad he won too Gleds, he's got the most wonderful voice and personality.

My favourite of his songs was 'Dance With My Father' - it never fails to reduce me to tears. His single is fabulous too.

I thought Stacey was much better than Olly.

  2. Hey Gledwood, I can't seem to find a good way to contact you so I thought I'd write a short comment, I know, not the best option but it's hard to find your email!

My name is Denny and I run a drug addiction website and I'd love to interview you for our site, or if you want to, host a guest post on AllTreatment for you. Pref interview you because of your strong voice and overall hilarity.

Would you be interested? Let me know at { denny [at] alltreatment.com }.

I hope to hear from you man, would love to talk about your journey and or hamsters!

    Take care!

  3. AKELAMALU: I'm so glad someone else hates Olly Murrrrrs too. And wasn't it annoying ~ it was always Stacey and Joe but never just Ollie always Ollie bloody Murrrrrs... I thought he was so bland and was afronted when Carrie red haired, singing tutor from BBC's defunct Fame Academy said she wanted him to win "because he seems to have so much more to give"... which flies in the face of the rules, which say you judge on what you SEE and HEAR! And I don't think Olly Murrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrs had anything else AT ALL to give he is dull as grey 3-day-old dishwater!

I really wanted Stacey to win, but thought Joe had the most amazing male voice I've heard in a long long LONG time...

DENNY: OK, I'm a bit nervous about this... but I'll get in touch soon, I promise, OK!
