New Font: What D'ya Think?

DO YOU LIKE THE NEW TYPEFACE EVERYONE? It's just normal Times (I'm shocked at how paltry the selection here is: especially of colours. Everything is two shades darker than the hue I'd go for. As if it needs a good wipe over with a damp cloth...)

Anyway, do you like this typeface? Or does it look too reminiscent of a 1910-published provincial newspaper?

I don't know. The other one looked too girlie to me. A bit Johnson & Johnson Baby Powder packaging... know what I mean...? At least this blog has a far nicer template than the other one (my blogspot archive blog). That one looks to my eyes like a BT telephone bill... Ruth, you're English, do you agree??

    I like it...I often wish I could get the font on mine larger...I can't read it!! without glasses. Will no doubt get around to fiddling with it one day

    Ah:- you just go to font & there's a little button down and to the right, it doesn't give you a number confirmation or anything: I upped it about 3 or 4 times to get it like this.

    Also BTW I think I know the prob I have/had sometimes getting into your comments: when I set mine up I had the option "comments as pop-up" or not. The default is "no"- maybe yours got altered? Mine are set as nonpopup. I think yours have been falling foul of my popupblocker...

    I've never been a fan of Times as a font; perhaps it's just that it's so overused nowadays (at least it is in the States). Never saw a BT telephone bill ... our AT&T uses Helvetica, which I despise.

    However, your Times here is better than what you had, and I must say overall that the effect is positive. I did notice an improvement, but before reading this I didn't know what it was.

    How does Mousie like it?? hehe
