Itchy's Covered in Fur

THE SONG GOES:
Itchy's covered in fur;
Itchy's covered in fur!
Eee-aye-a-dairy-mouse,
Itchy's covered in fur!!

I cleaned out Pingpong (my Chinese hammy; not to be confused with Pingping, smallest man in the world who's Mongolian Chinese...) Man! The amount of goodies he's packed in his pouches and stashed all over the place! It all had to go. And clean food, clean bedding and clean litter were provided in their stead. Pingping liked none of this and spent the next two hours pinging furiously forward on his wheel in an attempt to run away from this horrible newness...

The Roborovski family look more like mini gremlins than ever before, tiny yawning, peering, pinging trotters. They've chewed the entirety of the available blue chalk stick; have now graduated to lilac, a colour they seem to nibble more avidly than ever before!

Come and look at this amazing reflexional fir photograph at Dorrien's (who never replies to me)...

  3. We were discussing the smallest man in the world today... something about how it must really suck to be a man and very short. That picture is so adorable, I agree with Baino, you should put some up of your hammies! = )

  4. Poor Pingpong ! you took all his winter provision away, he must be very frustrated now !
    I see you have been downtown yesterday ! I loved to walk there. Last time I was in London was in August I made a 2 h stop before going to Eastbourne. I found the Pubs have changed since smoking is not allowed anymore. It took away the charm of it.

  5. Baino: I know! + vice-versa

    Lucinda: conversely, it must surely be inconvenient most of the time being a woman and exceedingly tall...

    Gattina: it was going rotten! He now has fresh pizza crust and seeds (they love hard pizza crust. Superior for wearing down the teeth...)

  6. ps Gattina I'm totally with you on the pubs. The Govt won't admit it but they've struck a fatal body blow to the licensing industry with that ill thought out legislation. Originally pubs were going to have smoking and nonsmoking areas but with smoking totally banned indoors no-one wants to go out. Especially when you can get drink far cheaper from the off-licence or bottleshop and smoke all you like at home while watching DVDs etc. Also you don't have to guard your stuff against "tea leaves" all the time...
