Kate Bush

I dreamed about Kate Bush last night.

Signed to EMI Records at 16, she released her first album aged 19.

Her biggest hit (and the first self-penned single by a female to hit #1 in the UK) was Wuthering Heights...

... her next release was the haunting Man With The Child In His Eyes ...

  1. I don't know Kate Bush, but from the link I took a peek at it seems that she has some diversity to her musical style.
I remember Pat Benetar's version of the Wuthering Heights song.

I like Kate's version better, but it's quite a nice cover (WT's a Dutch band btw)

  8. SWEDES: when I was at uni in 1991 just about every girl in the halls of residence seemed to have Kate Bush: the Whole Story

FURTHERON: she's v good isn't she. I had mixed feelings about her when I was younger; thought she was a bit self-consciously weird

  10. OMG, that song always played in the radio in the middle of the 80s when i was still a toddler. Totally loved it when it came on. I know the song is from 78, but they still played it very often many years later. And my mom had a record too. Was my favorite song as a child. Thanks for posting!
