I'M HOPING I do officially exist as Blogger have removed that warning message that appeared at the weekend and the "read the terrible Dalíesque melting word and type it in" security device lots of people have on their comments has disappeared from my "publish new post" function.

~While I'm on this subject, can anyone tell me how to import this entire blog to a new one without deleting it here? It's essential, if I do this, that it remain in both places at once.

Answers, please!

AS FOR ANYTHING ELSE: I'm flat of inspiration; don't know what to do, say, where to go/whatever. Just as I said yesterday. My life's getting to the point where it's too chronic to go on ~ but I haven't a clue what to do with it ...

MICROPOINT
Have a look at this:~

  1. I might be talking from my rear here, but what do you do with your time outside of addiction etc? Do you think it might help to engage in some activities outside of your realm of comfort? There are so many interesting and inspiring things out there. If I lived in London I would be inclined to visit the Tate Modern pretty much once a week. Surely there MUST be something out there that will help you find your way out of this rut.

  2. Hi Gleds, catching up.

I know someone else who had that Blogger message too. Good thing it's disappeared, life is too complicated without worrying about if you exist.

Sad news about your gran but it was a lovely way of describing her fading into the paper.

Then you made me laugh, wondering if you'd once been a parrot! In fact perhaps i should get one and train it to say, 'Don't do that, george!'

On a foodie level, do you ever go to Sainsburys? They sell Vivaldi baking potatoes, which are simply divine. Just had one with hummus for dinner. And did you ever find the perfect recipe for chip shop curry sauce?

  3. I'm feeling the same way - nothing much new to say just same old same old.

Haven't a clue how to back up or copy a blog. Sorry

  5. If the weather is grey in London I understand you, but if there is sunshine go in one of the parcs there are so many and just walk and look around and you will see (hopefully) that life is good. Otherwise go to a graveyard and see that it is not such a nice place (besides the monuments perhaps !) Ask Blogger help desk or the Google help, I am sure you are not the only one who wants to back up ! I have no clue either.

  6. "Gredwood, why you no risten?" I mentioned yesterday that . . .
If you start a Wordpress blog, there's an 'import' feature that will bring all your posts over. You can't copy a Blogger blog but you can back it up. I did that once but wasn't keen on Wordpress although those who use it are very fond of it!

  7. Gled, your life has a purpose. There's more out there but you can't see it for the chemicals in your head. There's a rebirth that happens in the months immediately after getting clean. One finds oneself enjoying life again, marveling at the simple things, basking in the glow of it all. It's not an easy road but it is a very rewarding journey. I hope you make it.
