Should This Have Been Allowed?

AT YESTERDAY'S MICHAEL JACKSON MEMORIAL SERVICE, before an estimated world TV audience of 1,000,000,000 eleven year-old Paris Jackson gave a tearful tribute to the memory of a man who, biological relation or not, had been a father to her all her life...

PAUL MCCARTNEY AND MICHAEL JACKSON: SAY SAY SAY
I think this was one of the best videos MJ ever did... also starring La Toya Jackson + the late Linda McCartney...

YOU ARE NOT ALONE ~ FANMADE MICHAEL JACKSON MONTAGE

EARTH SONG
This tune keeps going round and round my head. One of MJ's masterpieces:

  1. I don't know if it should have been allowed or not. She seemed to want to speak and maybe it helped her. The Congresswoman's speech also moved me.

  2. If the girl wanted to speak it was her right to do so. If she was forced into it, then shame on them.

  4. Nope . .she's going to end up being swung into the same downward spiral as her dad. Now everyone knows what she looks like, something he tried so hard to protect her from. The media circus begins.

  6. I have watched the memorial service from beginning til the end. This man was a genius. It's only a pity that he was pulled through dirt and accused of child abuse in the States and now he became America's hero ! He was a very sensible man and I think that really broke him. I have seen him life together with my son here in Brussels in 1988 and I only can tell that he put all his soul in his performance. I also love the last video you showed here. My son wanted to see him now in London but instead of getting a ticket confirmation he heard the sad news !
And one thing is sure, it's better to have a father then a biological producer ! Poor children.

  7. Baino: I know. I don't know what to think... all I can say is: this wouldn't have happened 50 years ago... not 20 years ago... but things like this happen now. Is it right? I'm not at all sure. But if she really wanted to have her say, who's to stop her?

Gattina: ...And one thing is sure, it's better to have a father then a biological producer !

    Here here!
