The first signs started maybe two months ago. The last two weeks have been worse and worse. Total drought. I knew one person with what I considered crap. Then I found out it was the best around.Then I got stung four days in a row. "Heroin" that just swirled browny-black dye in the spoon, runs along foil, though I don't smoke it I'm willing to test a tiny bit. But not with the highly distinctive, slightly opiumy smell of brown heroin base.
In previous droughts, by using extreme discrimination and basically by asking around, I usually managed to get the best stuff that was going about. When I looked for it. And there was still good stuff going about, albeit in tiny quantities, amongst all the rubbish.
The normal gear we get looks light browny-beige. A lot of the best stuff used to look indistinguishable from cat-litter (grey) but that was a few years ago. I have seen heroin in every colour from stark white to near midnight black.
A few days ago I was almost happy with the situation. Oh good now's my chance.
I was getting fed up of sticking needles in the back of my knees, between my toes, down the sides of my hands, up the back of my thigh where I can't even see.
But now I wake up wailing to myself. I am living on methadone! How can this be! No heroin. All day! Even if I "get" it, I will just be injecting brown water with the faintest opiate teaser. O how can this go on. Why don't normal people just hang themselves and be over with? How can life possibly have any meaning without the Killer B-sting? Akh!
Now I've got to run. Desperate person at door.

far as I know gear is still rank by early last year standards, but far more reliable than a couple of months ago. i really can't be bothered with it, which is why i have to go on what i heard. a certain guy i know with a 30 yr plus habit who's on methadone buys the odd bit now and then and says today's stuff with one exception that came from Essex is SHIT compared to what it used to be, the Essex stuff sounds like a fluke...
to all you out there you have my sympathy, i know the life i lived it long enough i'm still a junkie just a juice-drinking one. and my veins had pretty much gone and i'm not into smoking it. (and for the record going on the needle is my biggest regret, after going on gear...)

East London here, some of the dealers around here have had bits of ok-so-so gear, been selling it for a fortune though, its sickening really to watch them capitalise on other people's miseries. My guy & I got an 8th each (!!!!) for around £115 each, the gear is a bit funny, but I've been getting a nod, so it definitely has something in it. Also I am on a diazepam script, so I'm sure that helps to potentiate whatever H is in the gear...I smoke btw, I'd be WAY too scared to inject ANYTHING right now, goodness only knows what they're using to bash any real gear with. Anyways, I'm still feeling shitty, I dont even have the energy to type anymore...
I do want to thank Gledwood though, for this blog, as it has given us a place to come to online and share our thoughts and situations with others from around the country.

For anyone who wants to get off the methadone....if you have only been taking it for a couple weeks its v easy to do a taper - can explain if needed.for those who have been on for much longer it can be done and again can explain (im a user of 30 years and have done all sorts of detox)

Listen, I've been an addict for 20 years and have 2 children, one teenage and one toddler. I was scripted in both pregnancies and neither child had withdrawals. Please, it is dangerous to withdraw in pregnancy, if your so called partner gave a shit he would hang out and give you the meth. You must go to A & E if he leaves you ill again, they do help. Say you dropped your script or something. They will help you as withdrawl can bring on early labour, miscarriage, stillbirth.

HAS ANYONE come across the "drought gear" we used to get in previous years.
Cooked up, it has "tea leaves" or coffee grounds ~ tarry black stuff (NOT MEXICAN TAR) floating on top.
You can fish these out pretty easily, otherwise your filter will go gakky and might block.
The hit looks orange/browny, not clear like proper gear.
Chased on foil, as it cools it looks cloudier than it should and really gets the back of your throat.
There's real gear in this, enough to hold probably any of us (nowdays). But SHIT LOADS OF BENZOS. I tested benzo positive and haven't had a valium in 2 weeks.
Anyone got any idea what the black stuff is? Anyone else seen it.

and meth and coming off it is simple, try reducing at least 1/3rd at once, if ur serious that is might feel slighty diff. but not so much that u will give up. then try 5ml daily but slow down if needed as long as you tech can take off 5ml a week you'll be down to 10-15ml in no-time then as little as needed from there, but over-all i would suggest from start 5ml every week , try more but not less till right down, as 5ml a week wouldnt be noticed not at first, but when 15-10ml take it slower as its the last bit thats the hardest. but if ur preg seek advise. take no notice what is put on here either look it up urself online and read many sites not just one, and go from there, but if i was you i'd seek proper advise, social may get involved but all it takes is 1 visit if there isnt a problem social will not take it futher. they are helpful despite what people make out. people with problems have most aggro with them. hence the problems.(not everyone has probs, but social arnt villians they are primary intrested in the child's well being)

just FYI - there are some other useful sites/forums around, one being the (Methadone) Alliance where you can get the low down on your rights in treatment, what's going on govt policy wise around treatment, v good advice on whole host of topics (like Hep C/pregnancy whilst using - non-judgemental,accurate & safe!) & they're whole raison d'etre: advocating/mediating for anyone getting messed about by their treatment service over script (imagine a few ppl might want an increase right now, if you can stick with a script obviously ideal time to save for xmas).
also be useful to suggest on their forum about a collective letter around prescribing options, it'd get to the right ppl that way & it's really needed right now (e.g. govt considering time limiting meth scripts to a few yrs & you're off, no choice, so grass roots objection to this retarded idea will help prevent it getting anywhere). Plus good to have info on average wait for getting scripted - officially it HAS to be done within 2 weeks but no real reason why most services can't do it same day you ask...anyone in Westminster can go to what was the Hungerford project & it should take 2 days MAX, poss 2hrs (emphasise you have to live in south westminster, south of Oxford st is cut off line). A GP with a good drugs worker could prob do same.
if you can demonstrate high dose meth hasn't worked for you then IV scripts are possible, hard to get still, unless you can go private. Not impossible to get MST or a few other opioids either, main obstacle is they're not officially licenced for treatment so takes a good doctor to script you. Likwise more voices from the users asking/shouting for this stuff, pref with good medical argument, will help a lot at the moment - a new govt drugs strategy due out next mth & currently the focus is all on 'recovery' so anything supporting how meth has saved lives/kept ppl going (especially in jobs) is essential if you don't want 'treatment' to become a 6mth meth or Sub script followed by detox/rehab (then again, and again, and again...if the politicians think prohibition will work with just a bit more effort they def won't go back on a new strategy for treatment for a few yrs)

HI you all said you wanted to hear from some people in the states. Well, first, what you call "gear" we call "afghani" And I have not seen any of that since the late 80's. We live in Too Stoned Aridzone (Tucson, Arizona). What's prevailent here is Mexican Brown, which is a powder during the winter, but during the summer it does solidify up because of the heat. 115 F at times into a clump of shiny brown.
Our purities run pretty high. IF you get that a lot of the times it can be cut with instant coffee. They're the more shiny crystals in the bag. So not only do you get your H, but a nice dose of Caffeine. If you run into it over there I would say, do the old 10 unit trick. The average dose is about a 1/4 gram. Put about 60 on it, draw up 8 or 10 just to see where you're at. IT is smokeable, but I don't know anybody who does it that way. Also, it can be disolved in water and you can use a nasal inhailer bottle to squirt it up you nose.

Oh man,this is getting ridiculous!!People round here,Chesterfield(Derbyshire)are testing negative after using 3/4times a day,every day in lead up to their tests!! What most people are getting is solidifying in pin but runs forever on foil but does fuck all!! Just got some GREAT NEWS that tomorrow our man will have top notch gear-he was calling us to let us know, so now we can get our money together and buy an oz of it!! I think this is a GREAT SIGN, our man is from Mile End/Whitechapel area, and he never ever gets anything he wouldn't smoke himself (only gets the best..) So, will definitely post again tomorrow to let you all know that we have it in our hands....if its gotten to him, then it won't be long for the rest...

You don't need to do anything. What goes round comes around. JAY you can get a passport by going to the office nr Victoria (it might have moved) and you'll get one that day. You'll need all the right photos, IDs etc. If you already have a passport but expired it's way easier. You don't need to dig up a school teacher or a doctor or someone else on coke who'se supposed to be respectible.
I do not condone international tourism of the type you mention, I take it you're indulging a fantasy, not actually planning on doing that..?? BE CAREFUL!
@ JAY from enfield - listen if you go to the passport office with a fax or photocopy of a work contract they give your passport the same day - just phone agencys in holland im a welder but take any bloody job and tell them on the phone you need proof that you will be working and your off to holland next morning !!! i lived there for a year good quality drugs and the woman are bold they seemed to love guys from the uk - i ended up getting caught with crack and tasted their prison system bloody conjugal rights & everything ...

2 people seriously crossed me, one about 2 yrs ago, the other about 4 yrs ago. One was male, one female. The female one I was so nicey nicey to afterwards she genuinely seemed to believe I was stupid enough to let what she did ride. In the end I relented and decided I didn't want to do something that drastic (VERY drastic). And I didn't want to be that type of person. You are what you do.
The guy I would have killed with my bare hands. He ripped me off on 2x10Bs (he was running, not dealing) I rang the dealer going MENTAL. The dealer had never seen/heard this side of me and rang back 3 times in half an hour. You know the way they normally play these things ("I'll get back to you" ~ and they never do, hoping you'll calm down). He knows me. I was in murderous rage. It took 4 or 5 hours to calm down. Next day I got a "free sample" so I appreciate that.
And I'm glad I didn't do what I wanted to that £5 HIV whore. She has a shitty enough life as it is. Sometimes people suffer enough from their own actions. Me and you don't need to do anything. They bring the shit on themselves.

About this time last year I started smoking it again.
About amonth ago I was sold something that I think was sucrose/glucose or the like. All I know is 48 hrs later I was in full blown rattle at 5am.
I never got any real stuff but a pale grey, cement like stuff which gave me no buzz at all,but stopped the rattle. A week or solater I was realising I didn't need a hit whn I woke up.
Long story short I'm totally off!!!
And right now(I smoke it in a pipe) what I would give for a bowlfull!!!

most long term addicts have been ripped off in there time, most im afaid just accept it, so it goes on. my mate was taken form £3600 the other day on 5 1/2 oz's , it was there own fault for accepting a sample before the gear was shown, they stood there and watched it weighed but didnt ask for sample straight from scales( unbeleivable) and once the 2 black london blokes left, before i brought i asked if it had been tested before done up. reply was no, so i said test it before i buy please, and was brick dust. so anyone out there who feels ripped off spare a thought for my mate, and never let ur money out of ur sight if you cant afford to lose it. simple really (its a lesson ive learnt a few times thankfully never more then £20 but ouch@£3600

If I haven't had decent gear for weeks an u smoke 2 bags eg .4 I should be well away but I ain't and don't feel any different so in my mind it's still crap in Essex.but for me this is ok,I don't crave shit gear and wen this is all here is I wud rather notes in my pocket or to go waste it on shoes,clothes etc something I can still see in the morning.

well wat can i say!! this is pritty unprecidented. am from the north of glasgow in Possil, wgich is well known to be one of the major hubs for outputtin heroin in glasgow and scotland, and i first noticed things drying up 2 months ago, there is still gear to be had here, but it is the white ish stuf that just keeps runnin and runnin and doesnt give u that hit. altho the guy across the road from me had sum good dark brown stuf in the last 2 weeks, just lyk the old stuf, dun the job nicely. but now thats all dried up and from last fri it has been nearly impossible to get anything, even shite stuf. av had people from all over south scotland and carlise fone me but nope, they places are even worst.
it seems lyk a differant serious of events has led to this dry up, including the faail crops, the current war and being unable to get things in and out of afganistan, along wid the massive sezures that have been caught.
but rest assured my friend, this wiill not go on for ever, and it certainly is not the death of heroin, for while there is demand, there will always be people ready to supply. and the fact that there are still massive seziures happining is a massive boost, for its a sign that people are bring stuf into the uk!! so try stay possitive.

Gear does come from other parts of the world. The infrastructure to bring it in ain't there. Not from Mexico (thank God! I don't want tar, I know a lot of people in Western USA love it and it's cheap). Colombian gear supposedly supplies Boston, Philadelphia, New York City right down to Florida almost exclusively. If Afghanistan can't sort their act out, the Colombians will. And their gear is China White-stylee!

It comes from Pakistan/Afghanistan as high grade light brown (like ours), from India as dark low grade brown (what they ussed to call P***i shit) and ultra high grade Buma White. With 3 source regions (a lot of Indian gear is divertefrom legal opium farms) I cannot see how a drought would take hold there. Who said that? Not me!
My point was this stuff we're hearing about "people high up saying it will last till next spring" they're just reading the Guardian/Times/etc like the rest of us and assuming it will last until next harvest. I heard gear is stashed all along the supply routes so it's always moving. People just want to make as much on a key as they can. The gear is there. Not as much of it. But it's there. Got no response at all. Our problems come from being an island nation with a huge habit. Usually it's a buyers' market. If someone sells me short I don't ring them for months, even years. IF whoeverr's importing this stuff doens't sort their act out soon, gear from other parts of the world will flood in and they'll loose market share for good. Colombian white and Burmese white are the finest white heroin in the world, up to 97% pure. And no nasty citric required. You can stir it up cold, it's that good.

The pakistan floods put most of pakistan under water for a month, making them have to find other trade routes (Safe ones that is), things should be slowly starting to pick up again now, even at inflated prices. Reckon we will be back up and running by xmas. So raize a glass to the smugglers, and drink to there health and godspeed.

personally speaking, i think it would be better for me to accept the draught and try to stay clean. the only way i think i can do that is by not thinking about it and not expecting to get it. i know its very pesimistic of me but thats whats worked for me in the past.
before the draught, like one other person on here has said i've been smoking on top maybe 3 times a week on average and not more than p4 a day. when it was my choice it was much easier.

Hi everyone, it’s JC here, from South Wales in the UK. I’ve been following this blog (and the “heroin drought” thread over at Bluelight.ru) for a while now, so I just thought I’d give you all the low-down on how things are up my way.
I’m from an average-sized town in the Swansea area of South Wales, and it’s been the same story down this way, too. I thought (or hoped) it was just a local thing! The last 2 or 3 weeks have been absolute murder!
Saying that, there are little bits ‘n’ bobs filtering through (slowly!), but as soon as someone “picks up”, there’s a mad crazy dash to get there first. The “good” stuff that’s around at the moment is like a white, ever-so-slightly pink sort of colour, it goes light yellow in the gun, but it does the job. It’s bit of a “creeper” too (i.e. it slowly takes effect over time, rather than hitting you in one big go). On the foil, it looks a bit odd, sort of a rusty orange colour, to be honest, I haven’t tried smoking it, but my mate didn’t complain, anyway.
On a normal day – do us types even have “normal” days?! – you wouldn’t be too impressed with it I admit, but it beats that white shit (1% gear / 99% bunk) that’s going about, at least.
I mean, it’s not great down here at the best of times – where I live, on the outskirts of the city, it’s 0.1g for £10, and £75 for 1/16th oz (oi! – don’t laugh!). However, things are a better nearer to the city centre: 0.2g for £10, and around £45-£50 per ’teenth.
So, how are things looking up your way lately? Slowly picking up, I hope!

This is so depressing. I was waiting all day on some gear today. When the guy finally got it he said its not boom, its about 6/10 definitely got something in it, it's just that it's got a waxy layer on top. I decided to get it anyway 'cos I haven't had anything since last Thursday. On the way there I tried to keep reassuring myself that it has to be half decent at least. I was so looking forward to it (even though he'd told me that it wasn't 'boom') and for some reason i instantly came out of depression. 4 buses later I've come home and put it on the foil. The colour of it looked normal. It was fine light brown powder but when I ran it, I'd never seen anything like it before. You couldn't really run it and it looked like wet coffee on the foil. When it would start to kind of melt, the colour would change to almost white. Never seen anything like it before. I got about 6 lines. Tasted like paracetamol. Didn't do anything. I feel better though 'cos I thought the guy was holding out on me and keeping the good stuff to himself which he said he was getting from Slough and this was apparantly the only person with good food but even that he says has dried up.
I pick up from Southall, West London which is a predominantly Asian (Indian & Pakistani) community so surely if anyone is going to get it, it should be Asian areas like that. East London has a large Bangladeshi community. Think Birmingham too.
What angers me is that I've convinced myself that there is people out there who maybe haven't even noticed a draught as we have because for one reason or another (either money or connections) they are still getting it as normal. I told my guy today that i'd be willing to pay £60 for a .2 of proper gear but he said he wouldn't do that to me, yet for £20 I got a .2 of...something... I don't understand why the extra prices if the gear isn't even gear. If it really was 6/10 I wouldn't have felt too bad.
Just wanted to share my experience but seriously though reading through this all I'm hearing is frustration and really bad depression. Why don't we petition the government to offer us morphine on the NHS in the future. Methadone only works if you are a really strong person, mentally. I was off gear for about 10months last year because I developed physical (not to mention mental) health problems which literally scared me into quiting. Fags and everything. But it's really ironic that the reason I went beack on gear is because I wasn't taken seriously by my GP in helping with the problems with my chest, kidney and quite serious problems with paranoia, all of which I still have to endure everyday. Before that I managed to maintain my sports training, studying and working but after I got depressed I've completely let myself go and it's only after I use that I can go out in the garden for example and practice archery so thats why I think morphine script for me would def. work.
I hope I'm not being too selfish goin on about myself. I'll keep it short next time. As for the draught it's pointless to speculate on the why, who and what are the causes of this draught. I always remember a Chinese saying which says something like the Chinese are only born to or live only to keep their head above water. That's how I feel, enduring a harsh existance, not really living, but unless it breaks me it should make me stronger. That's the theory anyway. Peace out

Hello Everyone. This site is great, its nice to hear what everyone else is going through. Situation in Brighton is crap. Had nothing for weeks. There is now stuff about, but its awful and turns a dull matt colour on the foil.
I'm a functioning addict, with a life, kids and responsibilities, but I am not functioning well at the moment!!. I'm finding it really hard to cope with kids and normal stuff, just keep getting so stressed and stuff. Does anyone know about p.a.w.s (Post Acute Withdrawal Syndrome) and how to reduce it. I've even joined a gym !!! with the idea it will help with it all, the stress, the boredom, the cravings, the lot.
Any tips would be useful. Thanks.

Hello love, please dont feel bad about your situation, you are doing the best you can, feeling guilty wont help or change anything. I have been where you are & now have a happy healthy child. The best thing you can do for your baby and yourself is to stay stable. Does your midwife know your situation? Most places have a specialist addiction midwife avaiable. They really will help you, in many different ways and not judge you.
Its easy for men to judge you, but you obviously didnt plan this situation. Like most of the junkies didnt plan to be in their situations either, everyone makes mistakes. Its how we deal with them thats important !! If you want to chat, let me know.

Hi everyone, it’s JC here, from South Wales in the UK. I’ve been following this blog (and the “heroin drought” thread over at Bluelight.ru) for a while now, so I just thought I’d give you all the low-down on how things are up my way.
I’m from an average-sized town in the Swansea area of South Wales, and it’s been the same story down this way, too. I thought (or hoped) it was just a local thing! The last 2 or 3 weeks have been absolute murder!
Saying that, there are little bits ‘n’ bobs filtering through (slowly!), but as soon as someone “picks up”, there’s a mad crazy dash to get there first. The “good” stuff that’s around at the moment is like a white, ever-so-slightly pink sort of colour, it goes light yellow in the gun, but it does the job. It’s bit of a “creeper” too (i.e. it slowly takes effect over time, rather than hitting you in one big go). On the foil, it looks a bit odd, sort of a rusty orange colour, to be honest, I haven’t tried smoking it, but my mate didn’t complain, anyway.
On a normal day – do us types even have “normal” days?! – you wouldn’t be too impressed with it I admit, but it beats that white shit (1% gear / 99% bunk) that’s going about, at least.
I mean, it’s not great down here at the best of times – where I live, on the outskirts of the city, it’s 0.1g for £10, and £75 for 1/16th oz (oi! – don’t laugh!). However, things are a better nearer to the city centre: 0.2g for £10, and around £45-£50 per ’teenth.
So, how are things looking up your way lately? Slowly picking up, I hope!

If you want opium tea go to one of the Chinese traditional medicine shops. They have like thousands of herbs that they use in TCM and a lot of them haven't even been acknowledged in the West yet they still manage to import them. Furthmore, the packaging in Chinese so that and the fact that its based of mixing a shit loads of herbs together you'll never know what you're really taking. Im sure there is something there to be exploited. Im gonna look into it. The Chinese word for opium is ya pian (pee'yen).

Re droughts as I recall there was one in early 2002, bad enough that a group of 15 junkies were traipsing up and down the high rd desperate for someone to score off. Eventually some white bitch who had brought her own back (backpacking) sold us all deals of pukka B at double the going rate. Stingy fucker. After paying God knows how little on the key/whatever she bought she had to do a 0.2 deal for £20. And that drought was NOWHERE near the league of this one.
A year or so later anoter drought turned up, again sometime between Feb and May. It might have been 2004. I never believed any of this was "accidental" and had everyting to do with those at the top end adjusting the kilo price to retain control. If they can drought the entire country, they've made their point. Us the addicts, the kids on mountain bikes, the 30somethings meeting in service station car parks... they all rely on these bastards for their business.
A mate of mine said "loads of people deal at the top end" I think he misunderstood my point. I was talking multi hundred kilo imports. How many of those are ever intercepted. When a few hundred keys are found notice, it's nearly always COKE, not heroin. I did my own maths. Though millions have a gram between 2 or 3 once a month or so, that's a tiny fraction. Most coke is used by addicts. Crackheads especially. Perhaps the market is double the market for heroin. But it doesn't get droughted, because it's supplied by a great many more people working independently.

She's ON methadone, NOT taking heroin. SUBUTEX is more dangerous for an unborn child than METHADONE by the way. A commment came through today from someone who was advised to swap back from Subutex to Methadone for the sake of her unborn child.
As we all (should) know, the pill is not 100% effective. Even a bad dose of the shits can diarrhoea it through your system so quick it never gets a chance to do its job.
My ex had an IUD, she said it hurt like hell going in and didn't want it taken out, or changed it hurt too much. She bled after sex, and wanted to believe this was her period. It was not. In the 2 yrs we were together, she only had one period, thanks to gear and methadone and drink.
Condoms as we all know are hardly the ideal in an intimate relationship. Like shaking hands wearing washing-up gloves. Not a charming long-term option for most.
There is of course the female condom, almost forgotten today, but supposedly as effective as its the vacuum-packed salami equivalent, albeit more expensive.
It is scandalous that we pay VAT, the supposed "luxury" sales tax, on condoms (not to mention women's sanitary towels/etc). The government rakes in more revenue on VAT on many such items than the manufacturers actually make in profit!
Remember the patronizing crap a few years ago about the proposed male pill? Women insisting they'd not trust their boyfs to take it. BIG misunderstanding of male psychology. Most men would far rather take the pill themselves (even in secret, so that both partners were on the pill ~ double-protection) ~ knowing for sure the pill has been taken and scuppering the very real chance of: "it just happened, I don't even know how! (but musing, 'I really want a kid, and even though you don't, we love each other; you'll come round to the idea')"... there are now depot injections and all manner of new-fangled stuff options. Monthly depot shots being merely one option.
But nothing, not even sterilizaiton or vasectomy is 100% effective (heard the (true) one about the woman with THREE fallopian tubes?!) It wasn't until she had the baby by Caesarean section that the medics spotted this.
Pregnant Lady, I'm sorry, I'm not ranting at you. My point being contraception, even in the 21st century is a highly complex issue and nothing works equallly well for eferybody. Nothing is right for every couple all the time. Times change, our bodies alter as we get older.
It is perfectly right and natural and to want to have children. That is the biological function of sex. Women, as we know, are racing against their biological clocks anyhow. The instinct for moterhood, of course, runs very deep.
So stop slagging this poor girl, just because her body has merely gone and done what happens when males and females get toether. GET PREGNANT.
Give the poor lady a break, please.

Just wanted to say me and my other half were in the same situation several years ago. Big drought lead to increased libido and her junked up menstrual cycle grinding back to life after several years.
It was a major shock, didn't even know she was pregnant for a few months. My OH got on the case fast once we new though, and got a script (we had always just shared my saved-up script when H was scarce before)
There were several minor slip ups the first few months, but nothing like we were. Slow and steady gets you there, and she was clean by birth. Your doc should give you plenty of DF's for the last bit of taper if you are pregnant, and that helps. If you aren't living out in the sticks, try and stay in the mainstream maternity system if you can, I've heard you can end up in a pretty grim environment in the specialist junky maternity system. My OH gave birth at the mainstream Kings Collage Hospital Camberwell, and they were great there - really kind and discrete about the extra checks and tests etc. and gave her a nice big shot of pethidine when she needed it.
FWIW, We have 2 happy healthy kids now, and the old lifestyle seems like a million miles away. The last drugs my OH did was that shot of pethidine, and I tick along on a minimal script and a small taste with old mates once or twice a year.
It can be done, just stay focused, and try to stay positive about the end result. There is nothing more pitiful than a clucking newbourn, and nothing more beautiful (and no better reason to change your life) than a healthy new baby, and the primeval flood of joy (and pride) that will give you.
poppy seed tea does work, you can buy them at health food stores or larger amounts from baking suppliers,its a slow burn at first, you think bullshit ,but later you will get some sleep and feel ok ,we had a bad drought in Aust it took a bad 3 months for things to get ok but prices had risen

I am sure the drought has to do with greedy dealers not wanting to pay more on a kg, when a kg of gear, so I read online when I researched the subject, was only £13,000 last year!
Stuff I've been told, by people from Spain, Italy, France etc, says that gear is cheaper there on the G, but weaker. I looked at a website givign comparisons and where it cost 25 euros a g it was 25% purity. Here at 40-50 euros a g purity WAS 40-50%. You get what you pay for.
If the people who control the gear trade in the UK don't sort themselves out within a few months, rival gangs (my guess would be Colombians, especially) will just take over. Colombians already deal in coke and heroin from Boston and Philadelphia through NYC to Miami. They could easily start shipping heroin here if the demand was there.
The Colombians are said to have taken the New York heroin trade from the Chinese in the early 90s by matching China White in purity, but undercutting on price. They didn't bother with Europe as the market was then sewn up by Turkish gangs.
But this could all change very quickly if those Turks don't get their act together. Before "brown", gear in Britain was Chinese. The Turks took over by delivering multi hundred kilo shipments, rather than couriering over a kilo or two at a time.
People who inject don't even like brown, because of that nasty citric acid you have to cook into it. Colombian and Burmese gear is put through a mild acid-bath, getting rid of the brown colour (impurities), transforming base heroin into near pharmaceutical-grade heroin hydrochloride. A good chemist can get China White to 97% purity and it's good enough to mix up cold. You don't even need to cook it! If the Turks don't sort their act out, this higher quality gear will establish a market share, at least among injectors, and the Turks will have to drop their prices or face losing a big chunk of their business.
I think heroin is an evil drug and I wish I'd never got involved in it. But it would give me a certain satisfaction to know that through sheer greed (sitting on piles of B to send the price up) the dealers who had Britain in the palm of their hand all these years had lost their business to Colombians and/or Chinese. Hahaha!

All the 700 ppl on here moaning about not having gear should know thats not the case, and being pregnant doesnt just suddenly make it easy to stop. ok some nice points, butr here where ur argument falls apart. u say takes about a year to get here, alot of that is because importers have sstock piles put by, when they get something in, they prob have stuff still to sell. and if takes a year wud mean there is a years worth on route! which dosent seem to be case, as it wud be hurryied here! and there wud be stock piles as theres always been roughly the same amount of users over last 2 yrs and been plentyful the price was even low, so obv there hasnt be a shortage, and price low so must have been more then needed grown! so where is it. so argument while has good points dosent really stand up to arguments
